Craft Beer Academy.Com has been designed from the ground up with craft beer lovers in mind. This site is meant to help craft beer lovers have one place to go for everything from how yeast works to a review on the latest seasonal beer.
Not wanting to keep the information on Craft Beer Academy merely passive reading, the site has also been designed for the home-brewer as well. Detailed walkthroughs are used to help the reader become active in craft beer and make it themselves. It is this way that Craft Beer Academy sets itself apart from other craft beer sites.
With the explosive growth of the craft beer industry in the past few years, the amount of information out there is staggering. Craft Beer Academy has been created to funnel this information in a fun, interactive manner to help anyone learn about craft beer and make it a hobby, and possibly even a career! Craft Beer Academy was designed to fill a gap between the informational beer sites and the tutorial-style sites to give you, the reader, a one stop site for craft beer information.
The founder of Craft Beer Academy is Brian Patrick, a part time craft beer blogger and full time craft beer lover. He founded this site in the hopes he could connect with other like-minded people in the craft beer industry. Currently, he works full time for an online school, but has hopes of turning his love for everything craft beer into his full time job. Brian is happily married to the love of his life, and plans for both his site and marriage to grow and thrive.
After starting to brew at home, and having a few successes as well as a few failures, Brian searched the Internet each time a problem arose, and had mixed luck finding the help he needed. Feeling that he could not be the only one experiencing these issues, he felt the need to remedy this lack of cohesion of information by creating a single site that would have how-to information as well as fun beer reviews and facts. This was the birth of Craft Beer Academy.Com.
Brian, the founder, doesn’t claim to be an expert in craft beer, brewing, or even beer in general. He created the site to offer information, and to grow with the site, helping others along the same path. It is his goal to help as many people as possible appreciate this thousands of years old beverage by enjoying it and creating it themselves.
